Hanazono 308hanazono area outline
Hanazono was put on the map by the clever marketing of Nihon Harmony, arguably one of the main catalysts for the sudden growth in Niseko.

Hanazono does not have the large scale developments, restaurants, bars, nightlife or infrastructure of Hirafu but instead, it offers a world-class golf resort, a leafy residential area and masses of potential with the ongoing development by PCPD and Nihon Harmony.

The ski hill is part of the Niseko Grand Hirafu ski resort and lies on the northeastern side of the moutain; it has some of the best off-piste terrain in Niseko and offers a pipe and jumps later in the season. There are three main lifts servicing Hanazono and it is easy to get across to Hirafu from the top.

As Hanazono is on the same ski pass as Hirafu, it is popular with locals and visitors alike. With the completion of the fabulous Hanazono 308 welcome centre (above), this area is growing year by year.

Hanazono Hills, a large-scale development area leading towards Kutchan, has been designed with full plans for implementation which promises to make the developed area of Hanazono larger than the entire of Hirafu.

Land prices in Hanazono have shown steady growth and this area offers great value for those looking for larger plots, wooded surrounds and a more uniformed construction approach. It also offers good long-term potenial thanks to the nearby planned developments.
